2. Some proceeds will be used to restore temples in Thailand’s three southernmost border Provinces.
3. The rest proceeds will be contributed to education as a scholarship for poor students.

**LP Nguen, Wat Bang Klan, Phichit Province is one of great guru monks in Thai history. He passed away many years ago. He was a former abbot of Wat Bang Klan in Phichit Province. His image is usually seen in many shops in Thailand because his name is auspicious. “Nguen” in English means “money”. LP Nguen is famous for wealth power. People who run business popularly have LP Nguen. They believe LP Nguen’s merit can bring them more money and windfalls. Moreover, merit of LP Nguen can protect the worshipper from dangers and bad things.
History of LP Nguen
LP Nguen of Wat Bang Klan, Phichit Province was born on 16 September CE 1810 in Phichit. He got ordained as a novice at age 12 at Wat ChaNaSongKram, Bangkok. Until age 21, he got ordained as a monk at Wat TongPu. After that, he moved to Wat KongKaRarm. He became an expert in concentration of mindfulness in Buddhist way. LP Nguen also alone went on a pilgrimage in the border of Thailand and Myanmar. In CE 1837, he established the temple, Wat BANG-KLAN to promote Buddhism. LP Nguen succeeded in dharma and magic. He became one of great monks of Thailand. LP Nguen passed away in CE 1919 at age 109. Although he is gone, he is worshiped widely throughout Thailand. You can see his image in most places. His amulets are very famous for protection and wealth.

Holiness of LP Nguen never ends in Thai people’s belief. In fact, LP Nguen is regarded holy like LP Thuad, Somdej Toh and other great past guru monks. Although LP Nguen passed away a long time ago, his holiness appears in his amulets. Here is one of many wonderful experiences.
On 19 July 2012, a man slept while he was driving. His car hit the utility pole by the road. His car was damaged but he was safe. He thought LP Nguen amulet he wore saved him.
