About LP Boon:
Luang Pu Boon of Wat Ban Mak Mee, Ubon Ratchathani Province was born on 24 Jan. 2463 BE (1920 CE). LP Boon was full of mercy on everybody, well-known among senior monks because he was solitary, simple, and humble. So people who met LP Boon always felt admiration for him.
LP Boon was a disciple of LP Than Dham SodaSom who was a friend of Somdet Loon (a great Laotian monk). With good behavior, LP Than Dham SodoSom liked LP Boon very much.
LP Boon stayed with LP Tha (former abbot of Wat Ban Mak Mee). LP Tha was one of a party of monks who went to restore Phra That Phanom (the pagoda of Wat Phra That Phanom in Nakhon Phanom Province). LP Tha taught LP Boon as brothers. Before LP Tha passed away, he told LP Boon to take care of Wat Ban Mak Mee in place of him.
LP Boon passed away on 1 Jan. 2019.
