Name: Retro Phra Leela Kamphaeng Sork Statue with Beautiful Arch
Size: 12.5 inches tall (width 11 x height 32.5 cm)
This Buddha plaque is called Phra Leela Kamphaeng Sork. In fact, Phra Kamphaeng is an important Buddha image of Kamphaeng Phet Province. “Sork” means length from hand to elbow according to Thai measurement. “Leela” is a gentle gesture of Buddha. Phra Leela Kamphaeng Sork is very beautiful seeming the world masterpiece work of art.
Material: Buddha is made of lead mixed with tin called “Nuea Chin”. Arch is made of glided alloy.
Phra Kamphaeng has been famous for preventing fire hazard and furthermore whoever worships will have only good luck, progress and prosperity in life. Nowadays, it is hard to find Phra Leela Kamphaeng Sork to worship because there are a few makers.

About Temple:
Wat Phra Srirattana Mahathat is the important temple of Suphanburi Province where is about 600 years old. This temple has old brick pagodas assumed built before Ayutthaya Era. The main pagoda contains Buddha relics. Unfortunately, the pagodas were broken into by thieves for holy object inside. Therefore, today, Suphanburi Provincial Government takes part in looking after these historical architectures. In fact, Wat Phra Srirattana Mahathat is famous for Phra Kru (the Buddha amulets made in the past kept under the pagoda for a long time) well-known as Phra Phong Suphan.
