Myth about Naga
Naga is also intertwined with the history of Buddha, as seen in various legends where they play crucial roles in protecting and assisting the enlightened one. The story of Phaya Moot-cha-lin, the great Naga who provides shelter to Buddha under the Indian Oaktree, exemplifies the deep connection between Naga and Buddhism.

The Biography of LP Eiad

Phra Khru Pitsithamakhun (Pho Than Eiad, Kru Thom Mo) was originally named Mr. Eiad Thongphuth. He was born on February 3, 2478 in Nong Prang, Na Thom Sub-district, Mueang District, Phatthalung Province. His father's name is Mr. Phueak Thongphuth and his mother's name is Mrs. Mun Thongphuth. He has four siblings and he is the third child. He learned various subjects from his father, Kru Thom (Phra Kru Tawarachayakun), at Khao Daeng Temple. After learning from Kru Thom for some time, his father advised him to learn Buddhist scriptures and practices from Phra Ratchapatthanimuni, who was well-known during that time. This made it easier for him to further his education and training. It was said that if one does not train, their hearing may deteriorate. However, Phra Songkhr advised him that he had nothing left to teach and had taught everything he knew. After that, Pho Than Eiad returned to his birthplace at Na Thom Temple. It didn't take long for him to be appointed as the caretaker of Khok Yeam Temple, which had been without a chief abbot for a while. He followed the orders and became the chief abbot of Khok Yeam Temple in 2530. During his tenure, Pho Than Eiad developed Khok Yeam Temple and it continued to flourish. He was appointed as Phra Athikan Eiad, Kru Thammakun, and in that same year, he was also appointed as Phra Khru Thanangun and Phra Khru Sanyaphat in recognition of his skills and knowledge in various aspects. It is widely accepted that Phra Kru Ajarn from Phatthalung Province excels in medicine and herbal remedies, which has been passed down from Khao Or Temple to the present day.

Pho Than Eiad, Wat Khok Yeam , can be considered as a true descendant of the Buddha in terms of his moral conduct and diligent practice, consistently maintaining strict monastic discipline. He is a knowledgeable and virtuous Phra Kru Ajarn who truly embodies the teachings he has mastered. Additionally, he is an indispensable spiritual advisor to Wat Chedi (Ai Kai), providing guidance, encouragement, and instruction. He serves as a role model for both the monks and personnel of Wat Chedi (Ai Kai). He plays a crucial role in the success and prosperity of Wat Chedi (Ai Kai) for over 20 years.
