Luang Por Chaem's original name was Chaem . Phikhunthod was born on February 4, 1945 at Ban Samnak Takhro. He was the 9th child of 10 children of Mr. Thuek-Nang Lek Phikhunthod. When he was 20 years old, he was ordained on February 12, 1965 at Wat Samnak Takro. He received the nickname Kittisaro by entrusting himself as Disciple of Chao Athikan Phong Mahinthara Abbot of Wat Samnak Takhro at that time, it was famous for Takrud Tone Yantra Hua Jai 108 Yantra Hua Jai Setthi. Then he went to become a disciple of Luang Por Daeng Chinputto and Luang Por Kong Phutthasaro, who were famous in the same field and both of them were also teachers of Phra Thep Wittayakhom. (Luang Por Khun Parisuttho), former advisor to the 11th District Abbot and former abbot of Ban Rai Temple, Kut Phiman Subdistrict, Dan Khun Thot District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.
