The Biography of LP Derm:
LP Derm was born in Wednesday 6th February BE2403 at Nakhon Sawan Province in farmer family. His parents gave name is “Derm” because he is the first child and son in family. When LP Derm was 20 years old, his parents wanted LP Derm to ordain that LP Derm was willing to ordain too. LP Derm was ordained at Wat Khao Kaew, Nakhonsawan Province in 31 October BE2423. After LP Derm ordained, he went to stay at Wat Nong Pho to study Buddha’s teaching. LP Derm studied dharma, meditation and Pali language from Luang Ta Chom who was abbot of Wat Nong Pho and close disciple of LP Thao Rod. LP Derm studied the magic and dharma with LP Chom for 7 years then LP Chom ordered LP Derm to study the magic with AJ Phan Chuphan who was disciple of LP Thao Rod too. However, LP Derm studied the magic from AJ Phan in short time because AJ Phan passed away. Therefore, LP Chom suggested LP Derm to study the magic from LP Mee of Wat Ban Bon, Nakhonsawan Province. LP Derm studied the magic from LP Mee for 2 years. Then LP Derm went to study the Buddha’s teaching with AJ Yam of Wat Srathalay. LP Derm went to Wat Khao Thong to study sermon and Pali from LP Noom. After that, LP Derm went to Wat Nong Pho. Moreover, LP Derm studied the magic from respectable monk that was LP Thet of Wat Sarthalay, LP Ngoen of Wat Phra Pranglueng, LP Khaonor in Nakhon Sawan Province and LP Kham of Wat Khao Keaw. LP Derm developed the temples in Nakhon Sawan Province and near Province. LP Derm is unambitious and kindness monk. In addition, there was wonderful happening that was LP Derm known the date before he died. In the beginning of BE2494, LP Derm called his close disciple and vice abbot to meet. LP Derm said he will die in soon and ordered vice abbot to help people and develop the temple. In 22 May BE2494, LP Derm was seriously ill. There was amazing happening that was the elephants which LP Derm ever helped went to the temple to mourn for LP Derm. LP Derm passed away about 17.30 o’clock of 22 May BE2494 but before LP Derm passed away about half hour, LP Derm asked the people about the village’s pond. The people replied LP Derm the pond was near to evaporate that the villagers will get trouble if don’t have water. Therefore, LP Derm took his hands to place on his chest and made meditation. After LP Derm made meditation there was wonderful event happened that there was rain around 30 minutes at Wat Nong Pho.
