The Biography of LP Chuea, Wat Mai Bamphen Bun:

When talking about guru monks of Chainat Province, people will think of LP Suk of Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao, but actually LP Chuea is one of famous guru monks of Chainat too.

LP Chuea was born on 28 December BE2446 (CE1903). At age 17, his father took LP Chuea to study with LP Khong (a famous guru monk at that time) at Wat Mai Bamphen Bun.

At age 20, LP Chuea was ordained at Wat Mai Bamphen Bun by LP Khong, Phra Athikan Tia of Wat Klang and Phra Phrom.

LP studied monk’s subjects at Samnak Sattharaj, Chainat Province and passed Nak Tham Tho examination.

In BE2475 (CE1932), LP Chuea came back to Wat Mai Bamphen Bun and learnt meditation and magic from LP Khong until LP Khong passed away and LP Chuea has become abbot since then.

In addition to the routine, LP Chuea also takes a pilgrimage to find peace in various places. many more until Laos There are disciples in the northeastern region and the Vientiane side.

After that, LP continued to study Wittayakom with Luang Por Derm, Nong Pho Temple, the master of the Lancet and the Sing sesame seeds. and went to learn Takrut-making from Luang Por Mo Wat Chantanaram until it appeared famous.

LP Chuea passed away peacefully on 2 January BE2525 (CE1982) at the age of 78.
