About LP Sun:

Phrakru Sunthon Sathukit (Sun), or Luang Pu Sun, was born in 1886. His father's name was Kham Tan and his mother's name was Phol. He was the 8th child of 10 siblings, born in Ban Puey. Mueang District Roi Et Province Father Khamtan named this son Sun, the surname wishes you. When the boy Sun was 5 years old, his parents brought him to his place of residence to find new sources of food along with many family members came to Ban Nong Suea Hok (Ban Suea Kok in the present) by walking around at the age of 14, he was ordained as a novice. At Ban Suea Kok Temple with Phra Ajahn Sita as an ordained monk.

When ordained as a novice, he went out to study for knowledge according to various places until reaching near Laos I heard that there is a famous monk in Laos. So decided to cross to Laos in order to request to be a disciple with the teacher. That monk was Somdej Lun of Champasak Province.

With diligence and rigorous discipline, Novice Sun (at the moment) has gained knowledge in both studying and reading books in Khmer and Lao language very well. Along with various magic spells later, he paid homage to Phra Ajarn to return home to Thailand.

At the age of 20, he was ordained as a monk. Therefore, he was ordained as a monk in 1906 with Phra Kru Inthawongsa as the preceptor of Wat Khum in Roi Et city, with a rector, Ban Nong Lai Temple is a rector, a rector of the scriptures of Ban Bak Temple, is a monument when ordained as a monk you have developed nourishing buddhism as well as roads swamps to be the habitats of kin Acting as a refuge for people of all classes until being revered by many others until receiving the title of Phra Kru Soonthorn Sathukit.
