This is part of the holy collection, title Khang Yang Derm (def: holy as usual) by Wat Nongpho, Nakhon Sawan Province where is the temple of Laungpho Derm who was a past abbot and superb guru monk in Thai history in order to honor LP Derm.
*Blessing Ceremony of this batch was held on 21 February 2013 at Wat Nongpho, Nakhon Sawan Province in front of LP Derm statue and performed by many experienced guru monks as follows:

About LP Derm:
LUANGPHO DERM, a past abbot of Wat Nongpho, Nakhon Sawan Province was a famous guru monk in the past. He passed away in BE2494 (CE 1951).
LP Derm was born on Wednesday the 6th February BE2403 (CE 1860) in Nakhon Sawan Province. When LP Derm was 20, he got ordained at Wat Khao Kaew, Nakhon Sawan Province on the 31st October BE2423 (CE 1880). After ordination, LP Derm stayed at Wat Nong Pho, Nakhon Sawan Province. He had learnt dharma, meditation, Pali and magic from LP Chom, an abbot of Wat Nong Pho at that time for 7 years. After that, LP Derm went to learn more magic from many magical experts such as AJ Phan Chuphan, LP Mee of Wat Ban Bon, AJ Yam of Wat Srathalay, LP Noom and so on.
LP Derm is an uncommon monk. He knew the date of his death. In BE2494 (CE 1951), LP Derm called his close disciple and a vice abbot to meet. LP Derm said he would die soon and ordered a vice abbot to help people and develop the temple for him. On the 22nd May BE2494 (CE 1951), LP Derm was seriously ill. On that day, there was a strange happening that the elephants that LP Derm had ever helped went to the temple to mourn for LP Derm. At 5.30 p.m., LP Derm passed away. More wonder, before LP Derm passed away about half an hour, he asked people about the pond near his temple. The people told him that water in the pond nearly ran out. If the water was all gone, the villagers would be in difficulty. After LP Derm knew that, he did meditation for a moment. When LP Derm finished meditation, there was rain for 30 minutes---that was very wonderful!
His Superb Talismans:
*Superb Protective Knife:
When talking about superb protective talisman in the past, we, Thai people think of magical knife of Luang Por Derm, Wat Nong Pho, Nakhon Sawan Province. Knife from LP Derm is regarded very powerfully protective against all dangers and bad powers.
One legend, Field Marshal Plaek Phibunsongkhram, the longest-in-position prime minster of Thailand (15 years: CE1938-1944, 1948-1957) respected LP Derm very much and always carried along a small knife blessed by LP Derm to protect himself from attack and dangers because being the head of army was not safe (some who disagreed tried to assassinated him). **On 9 November 1938, Sir Marshal was sniped. Miraculously, sniper could not fire the gun for 2 times. Then he chased and fired Sir Marshal until bullets ran out, but Sir Marshal was not damaged at all. At last, the sniper was arrested. On that day, Sir Marshal had a small knife LP Derm in his shirt!
*Holy Ivory Amulets:
He began making ivory amulets in CE 1927 to give to his disciples. According to information from people, they tell that LP Derm liked to look after animals for using like a horse and an elephant. When animals died like an eleplant, LP Derm kept the tusks to make amulet where history of ivory amulets by LP Derm came from. Some of them are protective and others are lucky. The ivory amulets are special because they were carved by hands one by one. So, each one is a little different.
