Name: Big Hoon Payon
From: LP Narong, Wat Mongkolnimit, Maha Sarakham Province
Origin: Thailand
Size: 7 x 20 cm approximately

Material:The center of the figure is made of grass (Yar Ka) from 7 cemeteries. The outer body is made of wood and tied with holy thread.
Ceremony: Every piece of Hoon Payon is made by LP Narong, so each one may be different. After the guru monk finished the figure, he dipped the figure in Namman Chatree (helpful oil blessed for 7 days). Then he painted and wrote Yant on the figure. After this step, he performed consecration called Phook Hoon by spelling the Katha Huajai Nipphan Sood until the spirit and the figure became one.
**Power: Hoon Payon spirit does not sleep. He is always awake to help and protect his owner. He can fight against bad spirits and keep an eye on house, car, etc. He will also bring good luck (Serm Duang), wealth, good business and Metta (mercy).
