Purpose: to earn money to develop and restore old permanent objects in temple

Ceremony: Big ceremony in 1973 blessed by Luang Pu Toh of Wat Pradoochimplee and many famous venerable guru monks on 15 March 1973.

In this ceremony, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Her Majesty the Queen proceeded to Wat Ratchasittharam to perform the pouring ceremony of the main Buddha image. enshrined in the temple. On this occasion, His Majesty King Rama IX has bestowed that Buddha image. "Phra Buddha Sitthimongkol" is considered the most auspicious. Wat Ratchasittharam (Wat Phlap) which is the temple that the reign of King Rama I Built for Somdej Phra Sangkharat Yanasangworn, Suk, Savage Rooster . great in the ancient style at this temple to commemorate Sirimongkol for Buddhists

People say LP Suk was the teacher of Somdej Toh, the timeless monk of Thailand and a pioneer of Phra Somdej and Chinnabanchon mantra.


About Temple:

Wat Ratchasit (informally called Wat Plub) is an ancient temple in Bangkok, built in Ayutthaya period. King Rama 1 invited Luang Pu Suk (also Suk Gai Tuean, Phra Sangkarat Gai Tuean), a revered monk in early Rattanakosin era to be the first abbot. LP Suk was the teacher of King Rama 1 and also expert at mantras and introspection meditation (Vipassana Gammathan). King Rama 2 appointed LP Suk to be the 4th Supreme Buddhist Patriarch of Thailand. Moreover, Thai people believe LP Suk of Wat Ratchasit was teacher of Somdej Toh. LP Suk passed away on 29 August 2365 BE (1822 CE).
