Material:This rope is made of a buffalo's skin aged 100 years.
In the past, people made a rope from buffalo's skin because buffalo's skin is tough and strong enough to firmly hold things especially a large one.
Elephant catching rope is considered a kind of talisman that has power in itself, plus importing auspicious ceremonies catching an elephant and Brahmin ceremonies because in the past catching an elephant used buffalo skin to make a rope due to toughness of buffalo skin in order to bring that elephant to use in battle or use in rituals.
Ceremony: LP Samretmuneerat strongly blessed with mantra and his mindstream at Wat Pa Phu Kow Kwai on the auspicious date with offerings.
Power: According to beliefs Elephants are considered auspicious animals since ancient times until now because it is related to the way of human being. This is an uncommon Thai guru monk whose name is Luang Pu Samretmuneerat. He is sometimes known as Ruesior hermit because he used to be a hermit and can feel the grand hermit spirits. LP Samretmuneerat has many disciples who are Thai and foreign. He studied magic from many masters. He began learning the mystical science when he was only 15. At this age, he got ordained as a hermit by LP Singkhorn, a sacred monk. It seems that the magic is his whole world because he devotes all his life to study it and he can do it very well. He used to learn magic from Cambodian monk in Khao Phanom Kulen where is the sacred mountain in Cambodia. His disciples believe LP Samret has magic eyes and magic ears. Now, LP Samretmuneerat has built the temple named Wat Pa Phu Kow Kwai in Ubon Ratchathani Province and he is an abbot.
