About LP Charn:
Luang Por Charn of Wat Bang Bor is a famous guru monk in Samut Prakan Province. He was born on 3 April 1914. With long year in monkhood, he has ordained more than 5,000 Buddhist monks. Not only fame in amulets and tiger mantra, LP Chan is also a good monk whom many people highly respect.
Luang Por Charn keeps on superb magic of LP Parn Wat Bang Hia (the same Province) who was the legendary guru monk of tiger mantra. Tiger amulets of LP Parn are accepted the best protection from dangers and weapons so far.

1. Point-Blank Shot But Unharmed
January 30, 2009, correspondent was informed that a man was shot, but completely unharmed. That man was known later “Mr. Weera”. He reported a police officer that someone tried to kill him by riding a motorbike after and shooting him many times. He told that after coming back from work he had a quarrel with teenagers at the petrol station. 4 teens with 2 motorbikes followed him closely and one of four shot him 3 times, but the bullet nearly missed. That teen rode closer and shot him one more time point-blank and then escaped. The bullet hit his back, but just left a small burn on skin. The police curiously asked Mr. Weera if he wore any amulet on that day. He said he only wore LP Charn medal that he got from LP Charn one day before the crime. The front of medal has LP Charn sitting with a small tiger beneath.
2. Skin Resistant to Edge of Knife
Mr. Thanakit is another one who has faith in LP Charn. He wore LP Charn medal, batch “Phayak Siam” of year 2013 which backside has a tiger face. He said this medal could save his nephew from a knife attack. He told that one day while his nephew was driving, another car moved fast and tried to be in front of his nephew’s car all the time. Then they got off and fought each other. That man picked up the knife and stabbed his nephew, but the knife didn’t cut his nephew because he was wearing LP Charn medal on his neck.
About LP Weera:
Luang Por Weera of Wat Homsil is a respectable guru monk in Samut Prakan Province. He is kind to everyone, so he is respected by many people. Moreover, LP Weera is a disciple of LP Charn Wat Bang Bor who is a famous guru monk in Samut Prakan. LP Weera studied mantras with LP Charn including magic of tiger that LP Charn is very famous for, so magical ability of LP Weera is not common.
As for Wat Homsil, it is an old temple in Samut Prakan Province. The Temple was once deserted, but at present it has LP Weera as an abbot. LP Weera is often invited by disciples to bless at many places not only in Thailand but also foreign country for example Malaysia and Singapore. Moreover, he devotes himself to Buddhist benefits for example running a free yearly ordination project that 20-year-old men can get ordained without any fees. This is a good project in maintaining Buddhism for next generations.
About Kathina and Pha Pa:
“Kathina” is a Buddhist festival which comes at the end of Vassa, the three-month rainy season retreat for Theravada Buddhists. The season during which a monastery may hold a 'Kathina' festival is one month long, beginning after the full moon of the eleventh month in the lunar calendar (usually in October). It is a time of giving, for the laity to express gratitude to monks. Lay Buddhists bring donation to temples, especially new robes for the monks.
“Pha Pa” (frequent: Pha Pa Samakki) is a kind of Kathina that has no a specific date to do unlike Kathina. People can do Pha Pa in every season of a year. Doing Pha Pa is mainly for giving new robes for monks and making a donation for the temples.
Doing Kathina and doing Pha Pa can support Buddhism. The merit of doing Kathina and doing Pha Pa will bring the doer auspiciousness and prosperity. People believe when Kathina or Pha Pa doer dies, he or she will go to the heaven and when they are born, they will be in the rich & good family, good-looking and a beloved person of people as well as have a lot of money and properties.
