Phra Ajarn Suphasit, abbot of Wat Bang Nam Chon, Bangkok is expert at magic and mantras of Lanna (Northern) and the Central. He knows magical writing, northern Katha (spell) and Khmer magical characters. He had studied magical science since being young until became proficient.
Phra Ajarn Suphasit is merciful. He patronizes many temples because he promised to himself after ordination to use knowledge from teachers usefully to maintain Buddhism and help people.
