History of Phra Jow Sua:
Rian Jow Sua (old name: Rian Lor Chumkajang) first created by Luang Pu Boon of Wat Glarng-Bang-Gaow, Nakhon Pathom Province in 1934 CE on the occasion of 84th birthday of Luang Pu Boon. At that time, Rian Lor Chumkajang (medals) were given to people who donated money to temple. Because most donors were Chinese and rich, people called those medals Rian Jow Sua that Rian means a medal and Jow Sua means a rich Chinese man.
About LP Thong:
LUANGPHO THONG, an abbot of Wat PhraPhutthabatKowYaiHom, Chaiyaphum Province is a close disciple of LP Koon Parisuttho.
LP Koon Parisuttho, a former abbot of Wat Ban Rai, Nakhon Ratchasima Province was a famous guru monk who had holy utterance and good dharma practice. There are many followers of LP Koon in Thailand.
LP Thong looked after LP Koon and also studied mantras from him. When LP Koon was alive, he often had LP Thong inscribe metal shets instead of him. Moreover, LP Thong is often invited to join an important amulet ceremony.
