About the Guru Monk:
LP Chatchawan is an abbot of Wat Ban Poon in PhraNakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. He was born in BE 2483 (1940) in Saraburi Province. He used to be a boxer. Later, he felt bored with life as a layman he wanted to find out the real matter of life. At age 31, he quit boxing and got ordained as a monk
With interest in magic, after ordination, LP Chatchawan learnt magic from many guru monks. Then he went on a pilgrimage and found an old temple. He developed an old temple and named it ‘Wat Ban Poon’.
At first, there was only LP Chatchawan in the temple. He did not fear any danger, ghost and bad people. Once, while LP Chatchawan was doing meditation, a bad man shot him for challenging, but wonderfully, a gun did not work. LP Chatchawan was safe. A bad man ran away. From that event, although LP Chatchawan knew the sniper, he was not enraged and did not want to revenge. Soon, that sniper died because of karma. That shows LP Chatchawan is so merciful. Today, many people go to Wat Ban Poon to make merit and visit LP Chatchawan, a good monk.
