Myth about Naga
Naga is also intertwined with the history of Buddha, as seen in various legends where they play crucial roles in protecting and assisting the enlightened one. The story of Phaya Moot-cha-lin, the great Naga who provides shelter to Buddha under the Indian Oaktree, exemplifies the deep connection between Naga and Buddhism.

LP Bu, a Holy Monk Who Is beyond the Time:
This is Luang Pu Bu, a less-speaking, solitary and kind monk from Sumangkalaram, Wat Sakon Nakhon Province. His information is still ambiguous; no one knows when he was born and how old he is. A few old people revealed LP Bu came from Laos and settled in Thailand long time ago. Those seniors (aged 70-80) said they ever saw LP Boo when they were young and now he looks the same. People believe his dharma and merit keeps him young and healthy. Asking the ecclesiastical chief of Sakon Nakhon Province, he said LP Boo ordained for 2 times; first time is unknown and second in 1981.

Wonderful Stories about LP Boo:
There are many incredible stories about LP Boo that really happened to people. Some say LP Boo can disappear to the place he wishes to go. For example, people invited LP Boo and then found he was at that place before them even though they just spoke to him. Another one saw LP Boo went on morning alms round in his Province although LP Boo didn’t go. Next one told that the thief ran away because while he was stealing money in LP Boo’s alms bag, he touched a snake coiling at the bottom. Following story, before going on morning alms round or to other places, LP Boo likes to hide his walking stick in the bush. One day somebody tried to steal his walking stick, but he couldn’t although finding thoroughly. Wonderingly, when LP Boo came back he picked up his walking stick easily. Moreover, many people won the lottery after visiting LP Boo. They believe LP Boo implies good luck in his spoken words.
