Myth about Naga
Naga is also intertwined with the history of Buddha, as seen in various legends where they play crucial roles in protecting and assisting the enlightened one. The story of Phaya Moot-cha-lin, the great Naga who provides shelter to Buddha under the Indian Oaktree, exemplifies the deep connection between Naga and Buddhism.

Luang Por Sai, abbot of Wat Phra That Doi Thapchang, Prachuabkirikhan Province is a nephew of Luang Por Ngern, Wat Don Yaihom because father of LP Sai was a cousin of LP Ngern. LP Sai was born on March 27th, 1929 in Nakhon Pathom Province. When he was 10, his father took him to LP Ngern at Wat Don Yaihom for studying. LP Sai became a disciple of LP Ngern.
