With his great favor to the country, Thai people highly respect King Taksin. His familiar image raising a sword on horseback shows victory and Thai people believe King Taksin spirit will always protect the worshiper from dangers.

About the Guru Monk:
Luang Por Gohng Tueang was born on the 26th May BE 2466 (CE 1923) in Trat Province, the south of Thailand. When he was 22, he got ordained as a monk. After ordination, he learnt Buddhateachings and mantras from LP Rord of Wat Morakaram in Cambodia. Two years after ordination, he resigned to help his parents work because his family was poor. Until the age of 63, his family finance was better, so he returned to monkhood. After the second ordination, LP Gohng Tueang has devoted himself to Buddhism. He used to be an abbot of Wat Klorng Muang in Cambodia.
LP Gohng Tueang is highly respected by Buddhists in Thailand and Cambodia. He is a good and grateful. Every year, he holds the ceremony to show respect and gratitude to his teachers called Wai Kru. He also supports many temples. His amulets are powerful especially protection.
