Myth about Naga
Naga is also intertwined with the history of Buddha, as seen in various legends where they play crucial roles in protecting and assisting the enlightened one. The story of Phaya Moot-cha-lin, the great Naga who provides shelter to Buddha under the Indian Oaktree, exemplifies the deep connection between Naga and Buddhism.

Prayer Rosary from Rattan Fruits, Product of Pa-o Village, Myanmar:
Pa-o is an ethnic group of Myanmar. In Shan state of Myanmar, there is a small village of Pa-o. Pa-o people earn a living by selling a prayer rosary made of rattan fruits.
In fact, there are many rattan trees in Pa-o village. Rattan tree is useful. People eat young rattan fruits and take old rattan fruits to make rosary beads.
The production of handmade rosary beads is simple. People build their machine by themselves. The machine consists of three parts: a body, a handle and a drill bit. The body is made of wood. The handle is made of wood and metal attached with a chain wheel. The drill bit is made of metal.
The production, firstly, they open the shells of rattan fruits and soak bare fruits in the water to make them soft. Then, they put a rattan fruit into a drill bit and turn the handle to peel off. Next, the flesh is peeled off until there is a core left. Finally, the white rattan bead is produced.
