The Biography of Department of Fine Arts:
It was built before BE 2454; it is responsible of ancient objects, place, arts, history, literature, drama, dancing, museum, etc. without any control of any department.
Until the King Rama VI has built Department of Fine Arts on 27 March BE 2454. After that, it is neglected and when the change of the politics in Thailand and on 3 May BE 2476 has started to rebuild that department again until BE 2501 has changed to the control of the Department of Education until nowadays.
The role and duty of this department:
1. Act as a law of ancient place, object, arts and museum including law and others.
2. Take care of and conserve in culture, museum, ancient place, literature, history, dancing, and fine arts.
3. To manage the study of dancing, fine arts. To build in a bachelor degree both Thai and international and arts.
4. Study, research and prolong Thai culture, museum, ancient place, Thai language, literature, and history.
