Purpose of Making: proceeds to be scholarships for students and to restore the temple (Wat Sri Song Tham)

Ceremony: Incantation and meditation ceremony by LP Supot on the auspicious date.

Powerful: Phra Ruang has great powers about protect a worshiper from dangers, bad things and black magic.
Regarding to Phra Ruang Lang Puen story, “Phra Srimahathar temple” or Wat locals call Phra Prang Temple was situated in Sukhothai and built more than 600 years ago. The Phra Ruang Lang Puen amulet has its origins from the sacred underground stupa of the main Phra Pang monastery. These sacred amulets have a distinct Lopburi era style on its design that is characterized by a Buddha image standing giving blessings within a Ruen Kaew structure. The back of the amulet is special because of a long indention shaped like an air gun. Hence the nickname of Lang Rang Puen which roughly translates to “behind the gun chamber”.

About Guru Monk:
LUANGPHO SUPOT, abbot of Wat Sri Song Tham, Nakhon Sawan province is a famous guru monk. He was born on 25 January 1945 C.E. in Samutprakan Province. He got ordained on 20 February 1965 C.E. at Wat ProdKetChetThaRam in Samut Prakan province. LP Supot studied mantras and meditation from many experienced guru monks.

R.I.P. LP Supot, Wat Sri Song Tham, Nakhon Sawan Province calmly passed away 3 March 2023 at age 77.
