About LP Chai, a Reverend Guru Monk of the South:
LP Chai (Phothan Chai Inthachoto) Wat Pak Phon, Phatthalung Province is a former Ecclesiastical Chief of Bang Kaew District and the abbot of Wat Pak Phon, Phatthalung Province. Born in 2471 BE (1928 CE). Went into priesthood at the age of 21. After ordination, stayed at Wat Na Pa Khor for 1 year. Then moved to Wat Khian Bang Kaew for 2 years. Served the monks, attended Buddhist examination and studied magic and mantras at Wat Ku Ha Sawan the royal temple in contemporary with ‘LP Khow’ Wat Prupror, ‘LP Khab’ Wat Bang Khwuan Nuea, etc. Moreover, LP Chai is junior of LP Nong, Wat Sai Khao who built the legend of famous Luang Pu Thuad amulet in Thailand.
