About Wat Thepakorn
Wat Thepakorn was built in 1832 and received Wisungkhamsima in 1837 [1]. The temple's builder, Thao Thepakorn (Thong), was a Mon people and was a Sena ruler of King Rama I. Knowing that His Highness intended to build a temple without mentioning his name, he gave money to Sena Amat to build the temple. The elder uncle, Thao Thepakorn, built Wat Thepakorn.
