Myth about Naga
Naga is also intertwined with the history of Buddha, as seen in various legends where they play crucial roles in protecting and assisting the enlightened one. The story of Phaya Moot-cha-lin, the great Naga who provides shelter to Buddha under the Indian Oaktree, exemplifies the deep connection between Naga and Buddhism.

Luang Pu Lar, the Worshipful Monk from the North

LP Lar was a highly revered monk in Chiang Mai Province, located in the northern region of Thailand. Known for his wisdom and spiritual guidance, LP La was held in high esteem by all who knew him. Born during the reign of King Rama 5 in 1898, LP La spent his life in Chiang Mai, until his passing in 1993 at the age of 95.

His followers affectionately referred to him as Luang Pu La Ta Tip, with Ta Tip meaning the one who knows the future, as his predictions often came true. Even after his death, LP La's body miraculously did not decay, and to this day, his preserved body can be found at Wat Pa Tueng in Chiang Mai. His legacy lives on, as people continue to visit his resting place to pay their respects and seek his guidance.
