Myth about Naga
Naga is also intertwined with the history of Buddha, as seen in various legends where they play crucial roles in protecting and assisting the enlightened one. The story of Phaya Moot-cha-lin, the great Naga who provides shelter to Buddha under the Indian Oaktree, exemplifies the deep connection between Naga and Buddhism.

Wat Don was built in the reign of King Phra Phutthayodfa Chulalok the Great. The original evidence appears that Mang Chan Cha Phraya Dawei has come to ask to surrender to Thailand So there were people of Dawei followed by and built a temple in the year 1797, the temple was located on the Don, so it was called "Wat Don" and Wat Don Tawai called Don Lang Ban Tawai temple until in year . 1857 in the reign of King Mongkut His Highness graciously ordered Convert the name of a new temple to "Boromsathon Temple".

This time Phra Wisutthisophon was the abbot Wat Don began to undergo a major renovation. The temple then put up a new development project in the Phuttawat District, Sangkhawat District and the Beneficial Temple District, and then proceeded to construct the restoration by starting to build the walls of the Sangha Monastery, the Sermon Hall.
