Phra Thep Wisutthimongkol Or (Luang Pu Sri Mahaweero) was the guru of Vipassana meditation. He is the last disciple of Luang Pu Man Phurithatto, famous in Thailand and Lao PDR. He was a disciple in the same generation as Phra Mongkolyan Thera. or Luang Pu Ma Yanwaro, Santiwiwek Temple, Selaphum District, Roi Et Province and Luang Maha Bua Yansampanno, Pa Ban Tad Temple, Udon Thani Province. Luang Pu Sri was born on Friday, 3 May 1917 and passed away on 16 Aug. 2011.
