The Biography of Luang Pu Moon Tittasilo "Timeless Guru Monk of 5 Reigns":
Luang Pu Moon Tittasilo, also known as "Amata Thera 5 Elements", was born into the "Srisongkram" or "Kaew Pakpin" lineage on a Thursday, in the fifth month of the year "Chawad" in 2437 BE at Ban Chan, Kanti Ram district, Sisaket province. His father's name was "Dee" and his mother's name was "Au". Despite growing up in a poor family, Luang Pu Moon displayed exceptional intelligence and wisdom from a young age. Recognizing his interest in Buddhism, his parents ordained him as a novice monk at the age of 14 under the guidance of Phra Ajahn Sida Chao Awat at Ban Chan temple, a revered teacher known for his expertise in Vinaya and Dhamma.
In 2460 B.E., at the age of 23, Luang Pu Moon took full ordination and became the ninth member of a group of monks, with his uncle as the abbot. Phra Ajahn Sida acted as his preceptor, guiding him in his spiritual journey. Luang Pu Peng and Luang Pu Phuyi served as his meditation and Dhamma teachers successively. He was bestowed the title "Tittasilo", meaning "someone with firm moral principles". Subsequently, he spent four years studying under various teachers before seeking out additional mentors to deepen his knowledge and understanding of Buddhism.
