Phra Nak Prok (also Pang Nak Prok) is name of the Buddha image under the covering by Naga. This image derived when Buddha was in practice of being enlightened. Buddha sat under the big Bodhi tree (Srimahapho) and kept doing meditation. One day, it rained 7 days and 7 nights and Phaya Mujarin (king of great snakes) saw and was afraid that Buddha would get wet, so he covered Buddha with himself like an umbrella. In fact, Phaya Mujarin had faith in Buddha. When it stopped raining, Phaya Mujarin transformed himself into a human and paid respect to Buddha.
Phra Nak Prok has powerful power in protection against harm, dangers and bad things, bringing peacefulness and turning bad destiny to good. In fact, Phra Nak Prok is a Buddha image of people born on Saturday. It is propitious for people on this day to worship Phra Nak Prok in order to enhance their life and fortune. However, worshiping Phra Nak Prok is also good for people in other days.
After the Phutthaphisek was completed There are space connoisseurs talking that "How magical it is.." Turns out that these words were heard to Mr. Rian, causing Mr. Rian to consult with the guru monks in the Uposatha hall. "What should I do.." because it was known that at that time, trying different kinds of things was very popular, for example, taking a gun to shoot because I wanted to test the Buddha's merit in that sacred object how good it really is. The coin was shot through." Everything that had been done came to an end. At that time, the guru monks who had a little lent did not dare to comment, so he was calm in order to give you a higher rainy season than consult and decide. During that time, Reverend Father Kuay He asked for permission from all guru monks that "I want to volunteer." After that, he took one of his portrait coins with him outside the temple and then said "Who's going to try it?" It turns out that one of the gangster volunteered to be a tester. And took the said coin to shoot at the back of the temple. When the villagers saw such events, they realized the amulet power and started spreading word-of-mouth to a large extent. As for LP Guay, he then went back into the Uposatha hall and said "Done." Before all monks go back to the temple, the committee has given a number of sacred objects in this ceremony to all monks. In order for him to bring it back to distribute to his disciples at the temple, making the sacred objects in this ceremony spread in many areas.
