The Biography of Luang Por Prasit :
LP Prasit was a former abbot of Pa Moo Mai, Chiang Mai Province. Wat Pa Moo Mai is good quiet temple for vispassana meditation where LP Prasit conserved the original forest area together with growing more trees that makes temple cool and evergreen atmosphere.
LP Prasit was born on 5 March BE2484 (CE1941) in Udon Thani Province. At age 19, LP had an inspiration to attend temple because his house is near Wat Pa Nikrotharam where had LP Aon Yansiri a reverend abbot.
At age 20, LP Prasit went into Buddhist preisthood. After ordination, LP Prasit studied with LP Aon Yansiri at Wat Nikrotharam. Until LP Aon passed away, LP Prasit went to study with LP Chob Thansamo at Wat Pa Sammanusorn , Loei Province. After that, LP Prasit went on a pilgrimage in the North of Thailand that LP met LP Waen and resided Wat Doi Mae Pang for a period of time before coming to the forest and establishing as Wat Pa Moo Mai.
LP Prasit peacefully passed away at age 75 and 55 years in monkhood on 31 July BE2559 (CE2016).
