Power: Phra Kring is a famous Buddha amulet in Thailand. Believed to fulfill wishes of prayer, bring wealth, prosperity, progression, safety and peacefulness as well as used to make holy water to cure illness and drive out the inauspicious.
The name “Phra Kring” (Phra = Buddha, Kring = inside metal bead) comes from a metal bead in amulet. The ringing sound is believed to bring good luck.
People believe Phra Kring can cure illness. In the reign of King Rama III, there was the spreading of cholera that killed many Thai people. Somdej Phrawannarat (LP Daeng) abbot of Wat Suthat, Bangkok blessed Phra Kring amulet in the water and gave out water to people. People who drank that water (including LP Daeng) could get over cholera.

The Biography of LP Rod Wat Santikawas:
Luang Pu Rod Wat Santikawas is a reverend guru monk whom people in Phitsanulok Province highly respect. LP Rod is full of mercy for everyone no matter who they are. Moreover, LP Rod is a disciple of LP Derm Wat Nong Pho (Nakhon Sawan Province) who was a legendary guru monk of Thailand.
LP Rod was born on 4 January BE2464 (CE1921) in Phitsanulok Province. LP Rod got ordained at Wat Soeng Wai in Phitsanulok on 30 March BE2485 (CE1942).
After ordination, LP Rod met LP Derm at Wat Nongpho and studied meditation and magical subject with LP Derm.
At first, LP Rod did not make amulet. LP Rod began making because people asked him for amulet. So LP Rod picked up metal sheet and inscribed Yant making into Takrut for people carry along. With strong power, amulet could save lives of people especially helping to escape from danger. Some who carry LP Rod’s amulet were safe from bullets.
People say LP Rod has very strong mind stream. Some people saw the flashlight happening from amulets LP Rod was blessing.
LP Rod peacefully passed away on 18 November BE2551 (CE2008).
