With image that looked very much like Buddha, Phra Kawampati transformed himself to a chubby monk so that people will not misunderstand him as Buddha and that became signature of Phra Kawampati or Phra Sangkajai. Phra Pidta looks like Phra Sangkajai, but is in a different posture; putting his hands on his eyes that implies an attempt to obtain calmness of mind by stopping seeing. The Biography of LP YaThanSuan of Wat Na U-dom, Ubonrajchathani Province:
LP YaThanSuan was a famous guru monk and a former abbot of Wat Na U-dom in Ubonrajchathani Province. LP YaThanSuan was very admirable. He was a good monk who applied dharma of Buddha to his life. He knew a lot of magic which he studied with Phra Ajarn Kammathan Phaeng of Wat SingHarn, Ubonrajchathani Province. He could also remove black magic from sick people. He was very expert at meditation. He had very strong mind power. His amulets have strong power of wealth and protection. Many people get the effective effect of his powerful amulets.
LP YaThanSuan was born on the 8th September 1910 in Ubonrajchathani Province. He got ordained when he was 20 at Wat Na U-dom Province. LP YaThanSuan passed away on the 14th March 2006 at the age of 96.
