This is called Chao Ngo (shortly called Ngoh). Chao Ngo (a wild man with black skin and frizzy hair who likes to put a red hibiscus at his ear) is a character in Thai literature ‘Sang Thong’ composed by King Rama II.
Chao Ngo is part of Thai literature “SANG THONG”. In the story, a handsome prince was brought up by a kind lady giant. One day, the prince found the holy wells in the cave by chance. The first well was silver and the second well was golden. He dipped his body in the golden well and his body shone brightly like gold. Then he saw a magic wild man mask, magic shoes and a magic sword with crystal handle. He wore that magic mask and his body turned Chao Ngo , a man with black skin and curly hair. He wore those magic shoes and he could fly.
The rest of the story says Chao Ngo (actually a handsome prince) saw the princess named Rotjana. At that time, princess Rotjana was in the event of choosing prospective husband among many princes. The princess had to throw her flower garland to the prince she likes. When Rotjana saw Chao Ngo , she could see the real body of Chao Ngo that other people could not. She fell in love with Chao Ngo . She threw her garland to Chao Ngo and he got it. Eventually, the prince and the princess lived together happily ever after.
**IN MAGIC, according to the story, actually Chao Ngo was a handsome prince that he got the beautiful princess Rotjana as his wife. Thus, Chao Ngo amulet is believed to make owner charming and attractive. Moreover, it is believed to bring good luck and wealth to the owner. For wealth, the story says Chao Ngo could catch many fish by his magic, so Chao Ngo amulet will attract money and make good business.
About the Master:
Ajarn Prakorng (surname: Rooncharoen) is an experienced guru master living in Thonburi District, Bangkok. He is a layman who has been fond of magic since being young. He was born on the 7th October BE 2482 (CE 1939) in Thonburi District, Bangkok. He graduated diploma from the technical college in BE 2500 (CE 1957). Then he worked for Port Authority of Thailand (PAT) and resigned to take care of his sick mother. He devoted his time to look after his mother until his mother died.
After his mother funeral, AJ Prakorng got ordained as a monk to make merit for his mother. Being a monk, AJ Prakorng absorbed morals (dharma of Buddha) and meditation that are useful for life. Later, he resigned from monkhood. As a layman, he kept on his interest in magic. In fact, AJ Prakorng was amazed at magic when he was a child because when he was a child, he was sick and medical treatment could not work with his illness. So, his mother took him to a guru master for magical treatment and this way made AJ Prakorng recover.
AJ Prakorng thought that studying magic is useful helping himself and others. He decided to learn magic seriously. He got around the city to learn many kinds of magic from many guru laymen and guru monks for example:

He says he loves magic. AJ Prakorng is an admirable guru monk. He never uses magic in a bad way. On the other hand, he uses magic to help people. In his free time, he chants and does meditation to develop mindfulness. Today, people usually visit him to talk, get tattoo and do sacred ceremony for example.
