Power:   Phaya Tao Ruen, a turtle amulet has played in Thai belief for a long time. In many cultures for example China, a turtle is believed as a holy animal because it stays under a hard shell, can dive and lives long. Turtle also relates to Buddha’s story that he was once born as a turtle. In Thailand, you can see turtle amulets or sculptures placed in houses and establishments especially a shop mostly wished for good luck and successful business. In fact, people think that turtle amulet makes its worshiper lucky, wealthy and has long life.

About Gutu Monk:

Luang Pho SomPong of Wat MaiPinGlee-oh is the most famous guru monk who makes the ChooChok amulet in Thailand. He is knowledge of Visha (Magic) and has been studied he art of making efficacious ChooChok staues from many of guru monks in Thailand. Which are LP Sanga of Wat BahnMan, LP SaiWai of PreeDaRarm and LP LumYai of Wat ToongLahtYah.

His amulet is well-known among amulet collectors in present era. Every day, many people go to meet LP SomPong for his help.

R.I.P. LP Sompong peacefully passed away on 26 June 2023 at age 86.
