About Wat Phutthaisawan :
This temple is located Ayutthaya in the area where King U-Thong established the town. It was formerly known as "Wiang Lek" named after the royal palace of King U-Thong. The most distinctive feature of this temple is the great principal Buddha image casted in early Ayutthaya era.
History of Phra U-Thong:
There is also a story that tells the story of a sacred place in the old city area or Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, which has an important historical background, because it used to be the first place of residence of the first King of Ayudhya, King U-Thong This place is next to the Chao Phraya River.
