Myth about Naga
Naga is also intertwined with the history of Buddha, as seen in various legends where they play crucial roles in protecting and assisting the enlightened one. The story of Phaya Moot-cha-lin, the great Naga who provides shelter to Buddha under the Indian Oaktree, exemplifies the deep connection between Naga and Buddhism.

About Wat Phutthaisawan :
This temple is located Ayutthaya in the area where King U-Thong established the town. It was formerly known as "Wiang Lek" named after the royal palace of King U-Thong. The most distinctive feature of this temple is the great principal Buddha image casted in early Ayutthaya era.

History of Phra U-Thong:

There is also a story that tells the story of a sacred place in the old city area or Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, which has an important historical background, because it used to be the first place of residence of the first King of Ayudhya, King U-Thong This place is next to the Chao Phraya River. Originally called "Wiang Lek", it is now home to Wat Phutthaisawan. It is said to be a sanctuary of many gods and spirits, which resides and shows the power of paranormal activity.

If anyone has ever visited Wat Phutthaisawan Must have visited "Goddess U Thong" which is enshrined in the outer wall the left side of the large pagoda. "Deity Phra Chao U Thong" is a standing Buddha image sized as a real person. Or this Buddha image will have a reclining Buddha image Which God created U Thong to commemorate his mother Thep or "Thepharak Phra Chao U-Thong" has a history of being built for hundreds of years to be the guardian deity of the city for people to worship. Inside the Sri Sanphet Temple When the city lost the city in 1767, the fire was completely destroyed at Wat Phra Sri Sanphet. Phra Thep Bidorn went to renovate it and enshrined it at the Phra Prang of Wat Phutthaisawan.

In the year 1784, the reign of King Rama I, Royal Highness Krom Muen Thep Phon Phakkhom Krom Phra Kachabal Went out to repair Paniad (elephant stockade) in Ayutthaya Found the Buddha incense, Lord U Thong Therefore informing Rama I would like to bring him down to Bangkok And please change to a new image of a Buddha image covered with silver And to re-cast the Lord Buddha image into gilded bronze.
"Phra U-Thong" has long been rumored to be sacred and supernatural. That in the past he always appeared as a handsome young man Travel through the houses of the tea house Until causing many young women of the villagers to be fascinated until knowledge reaches the temple made Chao Khun of Wat Phutthaisawan thought if let Phra U-Thong traveling around the house like this would not be good. So he summoned the Phra U-Thong and asked for an ordination, which he accepted only with good. Therefore, there was no news about the divine Phra U-Thong to transform into a young man anywhere else. In addition to showing miracles to help those in need who went on to seek help until today.

About LP Huan :
Luang Pu Huan is a descendant magic of LP Derm Wat NongPho (Nakhon Sawan Province). LP Huan studied cutting Lek Lai with LP Derm. Cutting Lek Lai is not easy, only people knowing magic can do because Lek Lai is looked after by holy spirits. Every time before cutting Lek Lai, LP Huan places an image of LP Derm, his teacher and performs a proper ritual to ask holy spirits for permission. LP Huan says to holy spirits who take care of Lek Lai that he is going to use Lek Lai for advantage of Buddhism. LP Huan calls his Lek Lai “Phaya Lek Lai”, Phaya means “king” to show respect to holy spirits of Lek Lai.
