For Your For Your Information: Malaeng Phu is classified as “carpenter bee”. “Kam” means “gold” to add value and meaningful as a “golden bee”. Its image appears in belief of Buddhism and Myanmar. According to Burmese history, Malaeng Phu Kam is praised as animal of King Bayinnaung who always defeated every war. His throne chairs has “bee” at the both sides. These bees were believed to make King Bayinnaung lucky in war every time. In Buddhism, Malaeng Phu Kam or the bee flew to Himavanta forest to get the flowers to pave the seat for Buddha. Buddha gave blessings to that bee “As the best insect among others”.
