Name: Phra RahuOm Chan Carved Kala Ta Diaw amulet **each item may be different due to craftwork.

From: LP Suphap, Wat Tham Ngu Lueam, Khon Kaen Province

Origin: Thailand

Name: “Traimas 62”

Year: BE2562 (CE2019)

Size: 2.2 cm x 3.1 cm

Material:Kala Ta Diaw (sacred one-eyed coconut shell) filled with herbs and mineral powder.

Feature: Backside of amulet is embedded with holy ore, wealth gem and metal Yant sheet to increase the power.
Purpose: to earn donations for developing and restoring Wat Tham Ngu Lueam.

Ceremony: LP Suphap intensively blessed throughout Buddhist Lent (3 months from 17 July – 13 October 2019 ). Wonderfully, there was Lunar Eclipse on 17 July during LP blessing.

Power: Rahoo, the half-body black giant deity in posture of swallowing the moon is widely worshiped for good luck, success and wealth in Thailand. Moreover, people believe worshiping Rahucan drive out bad luck and bad things from the worshiper’s life.

It says once angels gathered in the ceremony of making immortal water. Rahualso came, but hid himself in the clouds. As soon as the immortal water was done, Rahurushed to drink the immortal water for the first one. The sun god and the moon god saw that and immediately told Lord Vishnu. After hearing, Lord Vishnu was angry and went to punish Rahuby throwing the rowel to Rahoo. The rowel cut Rahuin half, but Rahuhad already drunk the immortal water, so his upper part had become immortal since then.

According to the story, every time when Rahusaw the sun and the moon, he would eat them with revenge that they told Lord Vishnu causing him half body. With heat of the sun and power of the moon, Rahucould not eat them, but only swallowed and then spat out. This action is well-known as Solar Eclipse and Lunar Eclipse.
