Temple’s For Your Information:
Wat Sri Suwan (Khuean Daeng) is an old temple built in BE1925 (CE1382) early Ayutthaya era. Got the boundary from the king around BE2459 (CE1916). It’s told in the past, there was a rich man with 2 wives. These wives had their son. When sons were 20 years old, one wife of rich man built temple named “Wat Chim Plee Yang Tone” in the south. Other wife built temple named “Wat Khuean Daeng” or “Wat Sri Suwan” at present. This temple also has another name “Wat Ta Laeng Gaeng” because in the past this temple was the prison and execution place. With oldness, this temple was restored again in BE2485 (CE1942) the Greater East Asian War that Thai government used here as temporary headquarters.
