Luang Pu Iee of Wat Sattahip, Chonburi Province was a famous guru monk in the past. Some people never forget the picture of LP Iee they saw. In World War 2, Thailand was damaged by bombs of America, one day of bombing, people saw LP Iee waving a monk robe and casting a spell at the same time. His power could blow off bombs from the plane to the sea, not to drop at Naval Base. That could save many soldiers and people. Since then, LP Iee has become holy monk in Thailand.
King Taksin is the great king in Thai history because he freed Thailand from Burma’s control, the great final war before Thonburi era. There is King Taksin monument at Wong Wian Yai (traffic circle), Thonburi district, Bangkok. Every day, people come to worship and pay respect to King Taksin monument. Thai people believe King Tasin spirit always helps and protects his people.
Prince Chumphon (Gommaluang Chumphon) is an important person of Chumphon Province. He knew magic. After he passed away, people worship him and found wonderful experience. People built the shrine for him called San Gommaluang Chumphon in Chumphon Province. When people make a wish, they have to fire a gun for Prince Chumphon which is provided at the shrine. People say Prince Chumphon can make their wishes come true and shooting is what Prince Chumphon liked when he was alive.
