Year: 2559 BE (2016 CE)

Size: 19.5 x 24.5 cm

For Your Information: The Rice Buddha or “Phra Phutthakasetudomprachanat” was first created by collaboration of Attaporphiang Foundation, Wat Phoonpimonraj and the committee, Thailand’s Agriculturist Group in order to be an auspicious thing for Thai people to worship.

Purpose: proceeds from this contributed to the Buddhist chapel construction of Wat Phoonpimonraj and to make the Rice Fund in order to help Thai farmers in a long term

Material:The main ingredient of this Buddha is “riceberry grains” developed by Kasetsart University.

Feature: The bottom of Buddha image has a “Phra Mae Phosop” the rice goddess holy powder amulet.

Ceremony: This rice Buddha had the grand blessing on 22 December 2016 by famous guru monks from 13 temples around Thailand at Wat Rakhang, Bangkok.
