King Taksin is the famous king whom Thai people never forget because he did a great favor for nation by saving Thailand from being occupied by Myanmar in the second loss of Ayutthaya kingdom. After that, he set Thongburi kingdom and established himself as the king. (Thonburi eara lasted shortly and then was followed by Rattanakosin era begun by King Rana I)
Thai people believe King Taksin spirit will help and protect worshiper. Moreover, Thai people like to pray to King Taksin for success in business, career and studying.

Feature: The back of the medal has Narai Song Krut (Narayana riding Garuda) and RahuOm Chan (Rahuswallowing the moon) for good luck, less obstables and protection.
Purpose: proceeds contributed to the building restoration in Wat Mongkolkirikhet, Tak Province
Ceremony: This batch was blessed on December 28th, 2015 at 1.19 p.m. at Wat Mongkolkirikhet, Tak Province performed by several experienced guru monks of Tak Province:

About Temple:
Wat Mongkolkirikhet is a temple in Tak Province, the North of Thailand. This temple is famous for Kruba Soi who was a former abbot.
Kruba Soi was a former abbot of Wat Mongkolkirikhet, Tak Province. KB Soi made many amulets for people to worship especially his medal: Rian Kruba Soi, batch: Suriyuparaka (solar eclipse) in 1995 CE that is believed to have strong protection power. In fact, KB Soi medals are popular in amulet circle accepted powerful in protecting from danger. Besides, when asking nearby people who ever met KB Soi, they usually say he was merciful. When KB Soi was alive, he liked to give out amulets to people particularly a tube that had wax (Si Phueng ) mixed with chewed areca nut, his hairs, herbs and embedded with a tiny Phra Sivali amulet. This kind of amulet is popular among Karens, Burmeses and other ethnic groups, believed to make a holder easily gain mercy and kindness from people known as Metta Maha Niyom. KB Soi passed away on December 19th, 1998 CE at age 69 and 49th year of monkhood.
