About the Guru Monk:
LUANGPHO KLAI (age 84, 2015 CE), abbot of Wat Chantrawas, Surat Thani Province was born on Monday 12 September 2474 BE (1931 CE) in Surat Thani Province, the south of Thailand. With faith in Buddhism, LP Klai got ordained as a Buddhist monk at age 20 and has been in monkhood until now. After ordination, he set his heart on learning dharma, meditation and magic-mantras.
LP Klai became an abbot of Wat Chantrawas in 2515 BE (1972 CE). People respect LP Klai very much because Luang Por is well-behaved and kind to everyone. He is willing to help people who are in trouble without considering about their living statuses.
His famous amulet is Look Om Chanmak or chewed betel nut mass sculpted into a ball. Disciples who received this amulet found miracles to themselves such as protection, good luck and Metta or ability to gain people mercy and support. When people shared their experiences to one another, amulets from LP Klai are famous and many people often come to get amulets from Luang Por .
Another two famous amulets are Tid-mon (another kind of Takrut) and Takrut Salika which LP Klai always inscribes magical characters (Yant) every piece on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday (auspicious days). Moreover, before disciples take amulets home, LP Klai usually spells on amulets for second time to ensure the power.
LP Klai is another good monk whom people can pay respect wholeheartedly.
