Description: Boa is tied to magic because it is a sacred material for amulets and talismans. In magic, boa is a symbol of charm and wealth according to the way boa lives; exiting mating and easily hunting food. This Takrut is covered with magic of boa. Whoever owns will be attractive towards the opposite gender, lucky in gambling, easily gain people loving-kindness, and successfully do business.

History of Wat Nong Ngu Lueam, Chonburi Province:
Very long time ago, Wat Nong Ngu Lueam is a canal and one day boa came to eat fish in the canal and when the canal was dry, many boas crept out, so people called there Nong Ngu Lueam that means “canal of boas”. People believed where there were boas, there was plenty. Today the temple does not have a canal and boas, but people still call the temple “Wat Nong Ngu Lueam”. This temple has Ubosot Chalerm Phrakiet 84 Pansa, a chapel built to celebrate 84th birthday of King Bhumibol. This chapel has 2 stories. The second floor is basement, a holy place where when people pass they will get lucky and fulfilled in their wishes.
About Abbot (Phra Ajarn Chai)
Phra Kru Udomphatthanakan or Phra Ajarn Chai is an abbot of Wat Nong Ngu Lueam, Chonburi Province. He is a developer monk in way of LP Boon of Wat Thoonghiang (the same Province) who is his master. Phra Ajarn Chai was born on 25 May 2503 BE (1960 CE) and got ordained in Buddhism at age 17 in 2520 BE (1977 CE). After ordination, studied with LP Boon (now an abbot of Wat Thoonghiang in Chonburi Province) at Wat Phra That Khao Jow, Chonburi Province. Since became a monk, Phra Ajarn Chai has built 4 temples: Wat That Thong (Chonburi Province), Wat Kasetsuwan (Chonburi Province), Wat Janthadapracharam (Yala Province) and Wat Nong Ngu Lueam (present temple). Nowadays, Phra Ajarn Chai has many disciples. They come to Phra Ajarn Chai for bathing holy water in order to drive out bad luck, bad things and illness.
