He told that in the past his family was poor. One day, son of great grandpa went out to catch fish for family. He saw a ghost called ‘Phee Phong’, a male ghost finding frogs in the rice field to eat alive. A son was so frightened and ran away and the ghost followed him home.
When a son reached home, he shouted and great grandpa walked out. The ghost did not attack. The ghost gave banknotes to great grandpa and told great grandpa not to tell people about him. Great grandpa got the money and promised. Next day, the banknotes became dry leaves.
Local Thai people know that it is very important to keep promise with Phee Phong. If you do not, you and your family will fail in everything. On the other hand, if you keep promise permanently, you and your family will be wealthy.
Great grandpa kept a promise very well and family became richer and richer. Now, next generation is rich as well.

About the Guru Monk:
Krapa InKaew was a sacred guru monk in Chiang Mai. He was born on Monday 9 September 2472 BE (1929 CE). He got ordained in Buddhism when he was 12 and became an abbot of Wat Sri Khong in 2500 BE (1957 CE) at age 28. He likes to stay alone. He lives simply. He has one radio to listen to sermon. He seriously keeps precepts. Like a monk who lives in the woods, he has not taken a bath for more than 70 years. However, his body smells clean.
KB InKaew follows good steps of KB Srivichai and LP Toh who both are very respectable. Once LP Toh came to Wat Sri Khong, KB InKaew actively took care of LP Toh. Soon, KB InKaew became a favorite disciple of LP Toh. LP Toh said that “In Chiang Mai, I accept only InKaew as my disciple”. That means KB InKaew directly received magical knowledge from LP Toh. Moreover, when KB InKaew did meditation, he saw KB Sivichai in his thought and learnt Dharma from KB Srivichai too. KB InKaew practiced meditation with KB Phromma.
KB InKaew remembers difficulties he had in the past that he used a lamp to see when reading and had to walk a lot when going to get food in the morning because temple is far from village and stands on the mountain.
KB InKaew also traveled to learn from many guru monks in the North and the Central Region. KB InKaew went on a pilgrimage (tu-dong) from Thailand border to Myanmar that had a lot of danger for example bombs, guns and mystery in the woods. Many pilgrims died on journey, but KB InKaew did not.
His magical ability is not common. Disciple told once KB InKaew blessed Takrut. While he was blessing, items of Takrut moved a lot. When he released Takrut and Bia Gae (sacred ox rie shell), they were sold out quickly. People do believe in his amulets for example invulnerable Takrut and lucky Bia Gae guaranteed with people experiences.
A man whose head was magically blown (getting wind from mouth) by KB InKaew, when he died, his head was not burnt by fire because KB InKaew’s mantra called Phra Phuttha Jow 16 Phra Ong is invulnerable. In fact, KB InKaew seldom launches amulets.
