Ceremony: The abbot and monks properly blessed this set in the Uposatha hall on the auspicious date.

Phra Kring and Phra Chaiwat are famous Buddha amulets in Thailand. They are usually made together with similar appearance, but Phra Chaiwat is smaller.

Phra Kring is a famous Buddha amulet in Thailand. Believed to fulfill wishes of prayer, bring wealth, prosperity, progression, safety and peacefulness as well as used to make holy water to cure illness and drive out the inauspicious. One feature of Phra Kring is to have a metal bead inside that will have a sound when being shaken where the word “Kring” comes from.

People believe Phra Kring can cure illness. In the reign of King Rama III, there was the spreading of cholera that killed many Thai people. Somdej Phrawannarat (LP Daeng) abbot of Wat Suthat, Bangkok blessed Phra Kring amulet in the water and gave out water to people. People who drank that water (including LP Daeng) could get over cholera.

Phra Chaiwat is an amulet of the King. Every king of Thailand has his own Phra Chaiwat.
Phra Chaiwat means “always conquer/win/succeed”. In the past, Phra Chaiwat is made as a model before making Phra Kring to mean propitious beginning.

People believe to worship Phra Chaiwat will bring propitiousness, good luck, wealth, safety and success to life of the worshiper. Also, making a wish to Phra Chaiwat, your wish can come true.

The Biography of LP Lee:
Dhan Poh Lee or LP Lee of Wat ASoGaRam was a close disciple of Ajarn Mun Bhuridhatto who was a top 10 guru monks.
After LP Lee was gaining advanced knowledge from his guru. Dhan Poh Lee traveled a long way live in the deep jungle alone. He later finished miraculous Dhammain the jungle. He became one guru monk who could invite Buddha and Arhat holy. He conducted many times of the invitation of such the holy objects. LP passed away in BE2504 (CE1961).

History of Wat ASoGaRam:
Wat Asogaram is one of temple in Thailand. There is a formerly name that Wat NaMaeKhao. This temple built by LP Lee who was respect in Thai Buddhism. This temple was built on 16 October BE2499. This temple is very peaceful place. It is suitable for make meditation. Many people like to make meditation at this temple.
