The Biography of LP Boon:
The reason of name “Boon”: When he was a baby. He was severely ill until become unconscious. Next, he can not breathe. His parents thought that he died and were going to buried him. But he could regain again. Thus his parents give his name that “Boon”. When he was young, he was different from other children. He didn’t harm any animals. He didn’t like animal torture.
LP Boon was born 1848 in Nakornpathom Province. At the age of 13 years old, LP’s father dies. LP’s aunt took LP to Phra Palad Thong of Wat Glarng who has knowledge of Visha (magic) and Dharma, for studying knowledge of Dhamma. LP Boon eventually was to become the close disciple of Phra Palad Thong. After 2 years, LP was novice at this temple and can recite many pray chapters.
At the age of 22, he was ordained as a monk at Wat Klang Bang Kaew, Nakornpathom Province. LP has been an expert of concentration of mindfulness in Buddhism way and has knowledge of Visha (magic) and Dharma come from many Guru Monks. LP Boon was the first monk who created style of Bia-Gae in the present era. LP is a monk who possesses a lot of Metta (loving-kindness) and Bahramee (power). In 1886, LP was an abbot of Wat Klang Bang Kaew. LP Boon was generous mind and supported many disciples and people.
LP Boon passed away on 30 March 1935 at the age of age of 89 years old.
