Origin: Thailand

Size: 1.2 x 2.2 cm

Purpose: to earn money for developing and restoring Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, Lampang Province

**Holiness: This Phrachao Kaeo Morakot amulet has Buddha power that will protect holder from harm and dangers as well as fulfill wishes.

**This amulet was blessed by Northern guru monks at Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, Lampang Province in 1996.

The history of Phrachao Kaeo Morakot:

There was the belief about Phrachao Kaeo Morakkot was built from emerald that found in the water melon at the farm of Nang Suchada who was Buddhist lived near the temple. After that she took the water melon to the monk so the monk craved the Buddha image from the emerald that there were the angels had helped to crave too. Then the people knew the story about the Buddha image so there were many people went to worship the Buddha image. When the governor of Lampang Province knew the story he appreciated with that but there was a bad courtier incited the governor to misunderstand the story about the monk and Nang Suchada were the lover that in Buddhism the monk could not have the wife. So the governor ordered to kill Nang Suchada but before she died she wished if she did not mistake the blood will spout into the air. After that a killer beheaded Nang Suchada the blood was spouted into the air. After that the monk knew the story he decided to escape from the area and took the Buddha image went to Wat PhraThat Lampang Luang.
