Luang Pho Deang was born in 1879 at Phetchaburi Province. LP was ordained at age of 20 at Wat KaoBanDai-it. LP has been an expert of concentration of mindfulness in Buddhism way. LP Deang was close disciple of LP of LP Plian, the then Abbot of Wat KaoBanDai-it. Also, LP Plian was guru monk and very well-known in the present era for his knowledge in both holy Dharma and Visha.
After LP Plian passed away in 1918, LP Deang to become an abbot of this temple. At the same time, LP Deang developed the temple and learned Dhamma and magical khowledge with LP Chui of Wat Kongkaram, the greatest Guru of Phetchaburi Province.
The Second World War, LP Daeng created and presented his PhaYants (magic clothes) and Takrut to Soldiers and people. When the Japanese troops landed in PraChuabKiriKhan Province which borders with Petchburi, a small group of soldiers and patriotic people fought fearlessly. They were brave and it was said remained unharmed due to LP Daeng's amulets. LP Daeng's 1st batch medals, Takrut and other amulets worn by soldiers declared their great efficacy, particularly for safety and protection from danger. Another well reported event was the incident of a parachutist who jumped from a plane, but his chutes failed to deploy. Inexplicably the strong prevailing wind blew him into safely into a swamp and survived. He wears the LP Daeng amulet.
LP Daeng passed away on 16th January 1974 at the age of 96 years old.
LP Daeng built a Pagoda to continue Buddhism way in this temple and created many kind of Buddha amulet to keep under the Pagoda in 1929. Also, this “Phra Pid Ta” amulet got from Groo Wat KaoBanDai-it, made from of white terra cotta and has been blessed properly by LP Deang. In 1997 LP SoPonPatTaNaGi is an abbot has been repair the Pagoda. They found this Buddha amulet under the Pagoda.
“Phra Pidta” means The Buddha is closing eyes. People believed that this Buddha image can help them to get wealth and happiness.
“Groo” in Thai means big Pagoda to keep many batches of Buddha amulets (about 84000 amulets) to continue Buddhism way.
People believe that LP Deang’s amulet is very strong protecting its owner.
This is very rare and so value Buddha amulet.
