LP Mui and Wat DonRai
Wat DonRai is in Sam Chuk District, Suphanburi Province built in middle Rattanakosin period BE 2456 (CE 1913). This temple grew with good cooperation between an abbot and villagers. When talk about Wat Don Rai, people always recall LP Mui who was a past abbot. LP Mui was a famous past guru monk and a well-known monk in Suphanburi. He was well-known for holy amulets. Every batch of his amulets has been popular until now. LP Mui’s hometown was Suphanburi Province. LP Mui was born in BE 2431 (CE 1888), got ordained on the 22nd March BE 2465 (CE 1922) and passed away on the 15th January BE 2517 (CE 1974) at age 85.
