The Biography of LP Choo:
LP Choo is one of great monks in Thailand that he was a friend of LP Iam from Wat Nang. LP Choo was born in BE2401 (CE1858) in Nakhon Srithammaraj Province. His parents moved from Nakhon Srithammaraj to Bangkok since LP Choo was a child. LP Choo was ordained as Buddhist novice in BE2412 (CE1869) at Wat Thongnopphakhun where the well known temple of studying meditation. LP Choo studied the meditation and magic from Wat Thongnopphakhun for long time. Then LP Choo went to study the magic and meditation from Wat Rakhang. LP Choo left the monk’s hood because he want go to study the magic from other that if he was layman, it is easier went to study magic. LP Choo studied the magic from LP Plub of Wat Cheetahen who was well known in that period. LP Choo was ordained again at Wat Nangchee because he wanted to get peace and studied dharma. LP Choo passed away on BE2477 or CE1934 while he was 76 years.
There are many wonderful stories of LP Choo such as LP Choo can tell the right lottery number that make he well known around Bangkok and near Province and it make him to be trouble too because it is wrong with code of monastic disciplines. Therefore, Somdej Phra Sangkharaj in that time sent “Chao Khun Wat Anong or LP Nuam” to judge the case. LP Nuam went to Wat Nak Prok and told LP Choo about indictment. LP Nuam would like to test about LP Choo can tell the right number of lottery or not by writing the message on paper and keep in envelope. Then LP Nuam asked LP Choo what message that he write. If LP Choo answered right, LP Choo will be relieved from being an offender. LP Choo answer the message is “LP Choo can give a hint for buying lotteries” that it is right answer. Therefore, LP Choo is relieved from being an offender.
Moreover, when people near Wat Nak Prok went to Wat Nang for visited LP Iam and begged the amulets from LP Iam. LP Iam usually said you should go to visit and keep the amulet from LP Choo. Moreover, when people go to visit LP Choo and beg the amulet from LP Choo, LP Choo usually said should go to visit LP Iam of Wat Nang too.
